What Gutenly does
With printers, the money isn’t only in the printer. You buy ink and toner again and again, and the same cartridge costs a little more or less from shop to shop and week to week. Gutenly puts the prices side by side. Each model has one page with all its versions, each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer’s model number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare a single cartridge with a multipack, XL with standard, or a printer with the same printer plus a subscription. We only show shop prices once we have checked them for the exact version; if the version isn’t clear, we show no price rather than guess.
Independent
Gutenly doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
If Gutenly later earns money from links to shops or from advertising, this will be stated clearly next to the link or placement concerned. The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We don’t test printers ourselves. We show what the manufacturer states, such as the speed in pages per minute, duplex printing, wifi, the paper size and how many pages a cartridge or toner lasts. We only compare the manufacturer’s original ink and toner. If a printer only works with a subscription or an app, we say so.
